AACS - lessons to be learned
With all the chaos at Digg.com and almost everywhere else, why do these outfits continue with an RIAA style approach to their DRM being cracked open.
To date every form of DRM has been compromised, circumvented and cracked.
To threaten legal action is just hairy chested bullshit and I'll bet my weeks wages that AACS don't carry this through as the legal result may be just the thing that ruins their control. How you can claim ownership to a set of numbers is beyond me.
The whole DRM industry needs to take a long hard look at itself before it becomes extinct and marginal.
